As the Sales Director, you will call on existing advertisers, as well as recruit new business opportunities.  The goal is to help them tell their stories to our listeners so that the business can be successful and in turn, KWBG can be successful.  You sell it, compose it, record it and write it up.  You don’t have to worry about others dropping the ball because you get to run the whole process!  

This is not a high pressure, cut-throat atmosphere.  If your skill strengths include self-motivation, organization, successful multi-tasking and the ability to talk to anyone, this may be the perfect spot for you. Effective communication, collaboration and coordination are the benchmarks for success.  Sales efforts are to be in person, via phone and digitally, with the priority on face to face interactions.

This is a full-time position with a family company. There is some flexibility for a hybrid schedule , but on-site work must be the majority. You will begin with a salary, and then transition to commission based compensation.
