AM 610 KCSR & FM 107.7 KBPY in Chadron, Nebraska is in search of its next Sports Director. This is a full time position with a competitive salary and benefits options available.
Chadron is nestled in the beautiful Pine Ridge region of Northwest Nebraska and is home to Nebraska’s oldest state park, Chadron State Park.
Duties will include but are not limited to play by play of high school football (6-man & 11-man), basketball, volleyball, softball, and wrestling, writing and delivering daily sportscasts and posting content to our website, www.chadrad.com. You are also tasked with developing and ensuring formatting for all sports broadcasts. Additional responsibilities included daily on-air shifts of our Classic Country and Classic Hits stations, commercial production and live remotes.
Previous leadership over a sports department is preferred but not a requirement for this position.
