IBA will award $89,000 in broadcast scholarships and community college grants to deserving Iowa students during the 2005/06 school years, thanks to the support of the Q-Mac/ IBA Educational Endowment.

This year a total of six Iowa students have been selected recipients of an IBA Broadcast Scholarship...they are: Katherine Elliott, Lamont; Trevor Mickelson, Duncombe; Melissa Spiegel, Charter Oaks; Kelly Teeselink, Algona; Brenna Lynch, Cedar Falls; and Barbara Wilson, Washington. Each student will receive a $3,000 a year renewable scholarship, to pursue an education in broadcasting at an Iowa college or university.

Also, two UNI/Electronic Media students, Amy Danielson, of Estherville and Anthony Digmann of Monticello were selected to each receive a $3,000 scholarship next year to continue their broadcast studies.

All of these students will be recognized at the IBA Awards Luncheon on June 17.
