
The Iowa Broadcasters Association proudly announces the selection of the following five Iowa students as this year’s recipients of an IBA Broadcast Scholarship:
Matt Carroll of Columbus Junction; Jody Ferres of Independence; Grant Gerlock of Cumberland; Adrienne Rose McElderry of Council Bluffs and Zach Spittler of Manchester. Each student will receive a $3,000 a year renewable scholarship, to pursue an education in broadcasting at an Iowa college or university.
In addition, the Iowa Broadcasters Association announces the selection of University of Northern Iowa student Eric Braley of Cedar Falls as the recipient of a 2002/03 IBA Broadcast Scholarship.
As a senior next year, Eric will receive a $3,000 1-year scholarship, while continuing his Electronic Media studies at UNI.
All students will be recognized at the 2002 IBA Awards Luncheon, being held June 25th in Des Moines.
The Iowa Broadcasters Association annually awards broadcast scholarships to Iowa students through the support of the Quarton-McElroy/IBA Educational Endowment Fund.
