The Iowa Broadcasters Association proudly announces the selection of the following six Iowa high school seniors as this year’s recipients of an IBA Broadcast Scholarship:

Jesse Gavin of Cascade; Ashley Renae Manning of Remsen; Vesselin V. Mitev of Cedar Falls; Caroline Pakenham of Crescent; Jonathon Schultz of Storm Lake; and Matt Skilling of Algona. Each student will receive a $3,000 four-year renewable scholarship, to pursue an education in broadcasting at one of Iowa’s four year colleges or universities.

Students will be honored at the 2001 IBA Scholarship Awards Luncheon, being held June 20th in Des Moines.

The Iowa Broadcasters Association awards broadcast scholarships annually to qualified Iowa students through the support of the Quarton-McElroy/IBA Educational Endowment Fund.
