The Iowa Broadcasters Association proudly announces the selection of the following six Iowa High School seniors as this year’s recipients of an IBA Broadcast Scholarship:

Bryce Carlson of Boone; Thomas M. Cooper of Toledo; Adam J. Flagg of Clive; Jasmine Moeller of Strawberry Point; Danielle M. Plogmann of Toledo; and Brett Wolf of West Des Moines. Each student will receive a $3,000 a year renewable scholarship, to pursue an education in broadcasting at one of Iowa’s four year colleges or universities.

Students will be honored at the IBA Summer Convention during the Annual IBA Scholarship Luncheon, being held June 26th at the University Park Holiday Inn in West Des Moines.

This year, the Iowa Broadcasters Association will be awarding a total of $83,000 in broadcast scholarships and grants to deserving Iowa students during the upcoming 2000/01 school year. The IBA awards broadcast scholarships annually to qualified Iowa students, through the generous support of the Quarton-McElroy/IBA Educational Endowment Fund.
