Jobdescription	KIMT-TV is seeking a Weekend Anchor/Multimedia Journalist. From story conception to delivering it live on-air, the person filling this position will do it all. Solid news judgment, creative writing and strong storytelling are some of the skills the winning applicant should possess. Strong on-air presence is a must. This position anchors and produces the Saturday and Sunday night newscasts, while also serving as a strong fill-in for other newscasts. This position will also report three days a week. Applicants should have a four-year degree in Broadcast Journalism or Broadcast Communications. Past experience is preferred. Candidates should possess strong writing, editing and presentation skills. The person we are looking for needs to multi-task in an intense, creative and ever-changing environment, while placing emphasis on accuracy. Any offer of employment is contingent upon successfully passing a pre-employment drug test and a background screening. Successful candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
