Farm Broadcaster (Full Time)

The Iowa Agribusiness Radio Network is seeking a full time farm broadcaster. 

As an advocate for agriculture, we seek an individual who has a passion for ag and enjoys being around those involved in the industry.  Journalism skills are a must, demonstrated by the ability to produce an audio news story from start to finish.   We are seeking a candidate with experience but are open to an entry level inquiry. 

This position also requires strong skills related to video production and social media implementation.  Working knowledge of software such as Adobe Suite (Premiere, Audition, etc), Google Ad Manager, Word Press and related products is required. 

Our studios are centrally located in Des Moines.  We offer a collaborative team environment but could be open to off site office hours.  Some travel is also required mostly day trips, covering local Iowa news events.  Travel may also be included to cover other events such as the Farm Progress Show, Commodity Classic and the NAFB annual convention.  Membership dues to NAFB are provided.

We offer a competitive salary and bonus program and health care and profit sharing plans are available. We also offer flex time as needed regarding family and personal time needs.
