A former owner of KAYL has passed away.

Hedberg served three terms on the National Association of Broadcasters board of directors. In 1998, he was named Broadcaster of the Year by the Iowa Broadcasters Association.

In the late 1980's, Paul was instrumental in the revival of the historic amusement park at Arnold's Park.
