| Jobdescription | KIMT-TV is seeking an authentic, experienced journalist to co-anchor our evening newscasts. Our ideal candidate will possess solid news judgment and be an active, engaged newsroom leader. We are looking for someone who thrives on bringing value to our local audience and can also go live when needed for breaking news and weather. Applicants must have a passion for our community, a desire to tell stories that matter and must be organized and able to connect with viewers on all platforms. The ability to recognize important issues and communicate them to a diverse audience in a concise and comfortable manner is paramount. The successful candidate must be able to remain composed and professional while managing daily newsroom deadlines. Candidates must have a four-year degree in either Broadcast Journalism or Broadcast Communications. Previous anchoring, producing or reporting experience is required.
